Evangelho segundo S. Mateus 10, 7-13
Pelo caminho, proclamai que o Reino do Céu está perto. Curai os enfermos, ressuscitai os mortos, purificai os leprosos, expulsai os demónios. Recebestes de graça, dai de graça. Não possuais ouro, nem prata, nem cobre, em vossos cintos; nem alforge para o caminho, nem duas túnicas, nem sandálias, nem cajado; pois o trabalhador merece o seu sustento. Em qualquer cidade ou aldeia onde entrardes, procurai saber se há nela alguém que seja digno, e permanecei em sua casa até partirdes. Ao entrardes numa casa, saudai-a. Se essa casa for digna, a vossa paz desça sobre ela; se não for digna, volte para vós.

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 5, 17-19
Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place. Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever obeys and teaches these commandments will be called greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
